Hello everyone, my name is Stephen DeLong and I am the inventor and designer of Field Rovers, an unmanned robotic autonomous driven vehicle for farm field monitoring and treatment. People say that it reminds them of the Mars rover, I describe it as an Earth Rover designed to help cure our environmental woes and bring our food growers back to the Natural World of organic food production.
The robot drives through farm field crop rows performing testing throughout the field 24/7 powered by solar energy, utilizing infrared and digital cameras installed on the rover to inspect crops for harmful insects and crop damaging plant diseases and then spraying at that exact location, not the entire field that kills every insect like the important pollinating insects and the soil producing insects that break down the plant waste from the previous years crop that creates the food for this years planting.
